Magical Tours

As long as there are people with a free spirit, with a passion to use their holidays for more than just redecorating the house and with a desire to explore God's great earth, there will always be a Magical Tour.

We love Travel, at Magical Tours we’re not in it for the money, the recognition or the fame. We just love organising great tours for all the supercool people in our world. We invite you to come join in on the Magic.

  1. I love London

Simon ‘the haze’ Hayes answered the question “What’s your favourite bit of London?”

My favourite bit of London is the former dockland areas.  I like to look at the old pictures of when it was a thriving port with goods arriving from all over the world, and then compare the picture with what it is like today.  I particularly like the area of Rotherhithe, because there are lots of remnants of the old docks, like cranes, bridges edges of docks still in amongst the new buildings and parkland.

  2. Holiday Round Up

How’s it for holidays at the moment?  I’m loving it, and I bet you are too!  Here’s a peek at some stuff we’ve got coming up…

Big Church Day Out - this is one of the main things we’ve got going on over the next month…  Check out our website here and see what bands are playing here

We’ve also got a I Love London tour happening - we’ll get you more info on that soon and in the meantime, the crew have listed their favourite bits of London for you.  We want to know your favourite bit of London, tell us and we’ll put it up here…  We know you love London, tell us what you love best here info@magicaltours.co.uk

  7. How cool is this?  The Prime Minister is encouraging the country to break out the bunting and party?  At Magical Tours we’re celebrating by going on our William and Kate Royal Wedding Tours.  The last one was such a success that we’re planning another day trip to see where the Royal Couple came from and where they like to have a quiet drink.  Let us know if you’re coming on our next Royal day trip…

  8. St George’s Day Trip -
I have to confess that I have imagined St George looking slightly more fierce than in this picture and that the dragon looked less kitten-like…  Regardless we’re headed out on Saturday 23 April to celebrate England’s patron saint at the country’s biggest St George Day party.  Join us for a day in the country, checking out some gorgeous gardens, green countryside and maybe even a joust or two…

  10. St George’s Day…

Did you know that St George is England’s Patron Saint?  About 1 in 4 English people don’t.  So, we at Magical Tours in the spirit of patriotism have decided to educate the local population and take all the people who wish to join us on a day trip to Bedfordshire and the country’s biggest St George Day Celebration!

We will be headed to Wrest Park to be a part of the frivolity which includes cheering on your favourite knight in the joust (sigh), encountering a dragon and visiting the Key Keeper.  The Key Keeper holds the keys to explore more than 3 centuries of DeGray family history  (they’re the ones that lived at Wrest Park from 13th to the 19th Century)  in the Mausoleum and Chapel.  Lest you think this day is all about funeray fun (we’re Magical Tours, not Morbid), we are also stopping by Pembroke House, which is supposedly the inspiration for ‘House Beautiful’ in Pilgrim’s Progress and along with Wrest Park, has truly stunning gardens and grounds.  Come with us as we travel the English Countryside to celebrate England’s St George.  Did we mention that there will be dragon slaying at Wrest Park?  Not too shabby…

We’ll be meeting at Hyde Park Corner at 9am on Saturday 23 April, so make sure you secure your spot on the coach.  Tickets include coach travel and entrance to Wrest Park.  You’ll need spending money for lunch and any medieval delights you take a shine to.  I wonder if you can buy a lance…
