We’re planning a trip to the Lake District later on this year. It’s organised by the our lovely Pam-tastic who is currently enjoying a holiday of her own back home in the States. So, in the meantime before her arrival, let’s get all excited about what there is to do in the Lake District!

That sounds like the beginning of yet another asteroid-threatening-earth-while-aliens-eat –the-president’s-brain type movies doesn’t it? It isn’t. Though there has been a movie made about them… Prince William and Kate marry on the 29th of April. And since we have our William and Kate Royal Wedding Tour on April 2, a day trip visiting important locations for the Royal Couple, we thought we’d ask what you were up to on their big day, because we do get a bank Holiday after all…
I don’t know what I’ll be doing. I have friends talking about a street party with a big screen to watch the festivities… Tell us what you’ll be up to.
Prince William visited Toowoomba, where I grew up, last week. And this weekend we’re taking a day trip to visit the places he grew up. Fair’s fair after all. As kids Princes William and Harry spent time in the village of Tetbury as Prince Charles has an estate nearby. We’ll be checking out the stop that has produce from the Highgrove Estate and absorbing the sights of the glorious English Countryside.
I bet you’ve not been to Tetbury – just like Prince William had never been to Toowoomba before last week.
